Touch-A-Life (TAL) is a charity dedicated to providing scholarships to high-achieving students from disadvantaged backgrounds. In addition to financial grants, TAL Scholars receive personalised support and mentoring throughout university.

All of our sponsors’ contributions go to scholarships
- Every Naira paid by each sponsor go to the scholarship fund and nothing else. Our Trustees cover TAL’s overhead. No part of your support goes anywhere but to our Scholars.

Value of Each Scholarship
- Each scholar receives N200,000 to N600,000, depending on the course of study at the university or Polytechnic.
- Every scholarship winner receives personal mentoring throughout university from the TAL resource network.

Exceptional candidates in genuine need
- TAL evaluates each applicant through a thorough selection process right from the final year of secondary school. All applicants are selected from State funded secondary schools and TAL scholars are those who have made it through a three-stage application process that includes recommendations from schools, examinations and home visits.

Founder
Dr Abosede Durojaiye
Abosede founded Touch-A-Life. She is a University of Ibadan trained doctor and also holds several other degrees including a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Lagos and a Diploma in Social Works. She is very passionate about uplifting the disadvantaged and has spent most of her adult life working, volunteering and retraining to be better equipped to bring life changing opportunities to as many people as she can.

Mr Olatunde Adejuyigbe SAN
Olatunde joined Touch-A-Life because of his passion for transforming the lives of the less privileged in our community and heads the Advisory committee at TAL. He is a passionate and resourceful Litigation Lawyer and Insolvency Practitioner. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1988 and established the law firm, Olatunde Adejuyigbe & Co. in 1991 after working in some notable law firms. He is a member of many professional bodies in and outside Nigeria including the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK and the International Bar Association and was conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in September 2014.

Mrs Olutoyin Seriki
Toyin has the overall responsibility for mentoring and supporting our scholars as they go through each year of university and plan for their futures. She brings her vast experience in life coaching and counselling to TAL where she is also a member of our Advisory committee. Toyin was called to the Nigerian Law Bar in 1987 and is a Certified Arbitrator and Mediator. She is also an entrepreneur and owns Astro Lanson Investments Limited, a trading firm with interests in wholesale and retail of consumer goods.

Mr Olatunde Adejuyigbe SAN

In order to receive a TAL scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be in or have attended a state government funded secondary school

Be a Nigerian resident

16-19 years old (in year of application)
